Nate Kittleman

This is going to be my last summer before highschool is finally overwith. i really need to make it the best most funnest and probably dumbest summer i can make it because its the last one i got. most of my summer is already planned out because i know i will be going to a personal finance class for 10 days (which is 2 weeks) and then pretty much babysitting all summer from 7:30 to 5. i wont mind though, i get to hang out with a first and fifth grader and be boss over them. i also will be goin to colorado for another mission trip and to ellington missouri one more time for my final youth camp. it really sucks how time flies so fast. im almost out of highschool and then to college, then married with kids, then grandkids, then life is over. i vividly remember sitting at an assembly in fifth grade thinking of how i couldnt wait to be in 12th grade and how long that would take to get there. Boy was I wrong. I wish i could go back and be a kid again to where i didnt have a single responsibility and everything was done for me. call me lazy or whatever, but being a kid was the best. especially during the summer. well hopefully ill enjoy all i can this summer making mooolaaa envious of the kids im watching.

Is it me or does everything seem to go downhill really fast in 3rd quarter? Im not sure why but it seems like everything gets more difficult no matter what class it is and everything in life becomes more stressful. Maybe its just the cold and shorter days that are finally getting to us. Maybe it’s just all the laziness that has finally caught up with us and now we’re all overwhelmed with everything and we’re panicking! I know that for me, I’m just ready for spring to be here and then especially summer! Warmer weather, no school, no homework, no teachers, no nothin! Just teens being fun and fancy free like we should. Leaping through the fields frolicking in the woods, you know…NOT! Its more like blowing things up and playing video-games all the live long day. I know I got off topic but I couldn’t help myself. Anyways, all we can really do is just hold on for dear life while we’re dragged through this miserable time of the school year and pray that our grades and health don’t plummet into black hole or something like that. I know this weekend my blood-pressure is going to skyrocket because of all the homework that I have. So speaking of which, I better get on that…

VIDEO GAMES…… yep.. my break was pretty fun. staying up late every night and not goin to bed at 10 was pretty awesome. on 2 different occasions i spent the night with some friends and was up til 4 in the morning playing my new game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. that game is sooo amazing. I’m not the best at it but im pretty decent at it. Another game i spent alot of time playing was the game Assassian’s Creed 2. that game takes forever to beat. its pretty cool cause you’re pretty much killing templars and guards and stuff with hidden blades, swords, pistol, and even throwing them off rooftops. yep, video games are pretty fun and they bring out true friendships when everyones mad at eachother for killing everyone. ah good times…..

This Thanksgiving break, I got to travel to a small town in Oklahoma called Pahuska. It’s only about 3 hours way. This year was a pretty good year and I’m really glad I got to go. When I got to my aunt and uncle’s house on wednesday night, we were pretty much the last ones there. that night we only had baked potatoes to eat and i spent the whole night watchin college football.
The weather the whole week was amazing. everyone got to play outside and enjoy the outdoors. we did everything from football, frisbee, fourwheelers, bonfire, etc. the turkey was amazing cause my uncle Dave is a master at outdoor cooking. The whole weekend was really nice. Now we got 3 more weeks of school before the next break and they are not goin by fast enough. I think we need more breaks throughout the year…
